WHAT WAS ACCOMPLISHED?

In two weeks’ time, I worked with a small team of three to create a brand identity, landing page, and marketing content for minting colors.

The COlors

As the business was based on the idea of colors, I immediately was drawn to New York Fashion Week, which was happening the same week I was working on the project. I dove into all of the shows and swatched the freshest colors to start developing the brand.

Developing the Brand

As I started to think about how I could incorporate these colors into the NFTs, I started to draw block letters, buttons, and cubes, that emulated the block chain.

LOGO

From there, I worked with the block letters I Illustrated to create the CC Colors on Chain logo. I mirrored the C’s to create symmetry and also to make the logo look like a necklace chain-link. I was also inspired by fashion references to Coco Chanel, but in an updated cryptocurrency cyber style. Fashion has taken a big inspiration from the past and we are rediscovering our love for vintage. Combining retro vintage, 2020’s internet style, and the explosion of the blockchain, the brand was formed.

Landing page

After the branding was established, I designed the landing page where users could learn more about the NFT, and start minting their own.

Animation

Next, I worked on animating the artwork. The animations are meant to be interactive. As the user clicks on the color tiles they animate into cubes and change colors. This alludes to the pattern that users can mix colors, change colors, and mint their own Hex codes.

Marketing content

I designed the Instagram feed to simply portray the color tiles and artwork that we displayed in Times Square.
